A Commitment To Local Sustainability
The Florida Fresh Meat Company produces and distributes a full line of local sustainable, chemical free meat. Our product line consists of free range gourmet grass fed & finished Angus beef, as well as pasture raised pork, lamb, goat and chicken. Through our network of local ranches & farms we also have preservative free, farm raised, fresh-water-fed young tender gator, quail, duck and rabbit.
All of our proteins are harvested from healthy, docile animals raised on lush shaded pastures throughout North Central Florida. While we are not certified organic, these exceptional animals feast on a salad bar of pesticide-free gourmet forage including clover, wheat, oat and rye grass, millet perennial peanut and more. Our harvesting facility is also animal humane audited.
Our 100% grass fed beef carcasses, once harvested, are hung in an air ventilated refrigerated locker for up to 28 days for our old school dry-aging process. This process naturally tenderizes the meat & enhances its flavor. Our meats are cut into gourmet roasts, steaks & burger by old school master butchers. We have individual vacuum packages for our retail customers & bulk sub primal packaging for our commercial customers.
Our pastured lamb & goat have a light flavorful taste. Our prize winning Berkshire pigs are fed locally milled veggies & whole grains, never leftovers or waste. Our ducks & chickens are pasture raised, like nature intended.
We are found in meat stores, butcher shops, retail stores and restaurants committed to local sustainable healthy food. All of our meats can be purchased in bulk. Ask your butcher or retailer about saving on your meat bill by buying whole, half or quarter animals and having them portion cut for your freezer. Share the opportunity with your family and friends!
